Improving Exercise Performance With Supplements

Supplements and diet pills are marketed as increasing the results of exercise, by increasing fat consumption or reducing muscle consumption. There is another way in which a supplement can help you exercise, and that is by increasing your actual exercise performance. How does this work? Most diet pills have a metabolism booster which is some derivative of ephedra or ephedrine. For example, Phen375 uses an ephedrine derivative as the active ingredient. You can find this information in any Phen375 review. How does this help with exercise? Ephedrine is commonly used to treat bronchial asthma. It widens the lungs and reduces inflammation, meaning you can get more air. Your heart pumps harder and you can breathe better- so you can exercise longer with better endurance. In this way, a diet pill can not only help you lose weight. It actually helps increase fitness.

Why doesn’t the Phen375 review mention something like this? Probably because diet pills are still getting over the stigma of the “speed” years when the diet market was not regulated and many people injured themselves taking dangerous chemicals. But in today’s market you can be sure that only safe and modern supplements make it onto the shelves. Ephedrine is still available over the counter at drug stores as an asthma aid. It comes under the brand name of Bronkaid, but this pill is not used for dieting as it is focused on only the lungs, and does nothing for appetite or fat loss. However, it is worth remembering if you tend to get out of breath quickly, a diet aid like Phen375 may help. Especially for asthmatics, it can mean an extra push without the misery of wheezing and turning red.

In the Phen375 review, it does mention increased energy, which is one thing the pills often say. This increased energy is another effect of the ephedrine derivative. Even if you are not exercising, your heart is going just a little faster- that’s what Phen375 reviews mean when they say “boosts metabolism.” Your stomach does not work on its own, it is your whole body that is moving a bit faster. So rather than sitting around at home feeling energetic watching television, take advantage of this effect and use it during exercise. Monitor your heart rate carefully of course, and check the maximum normal heart rate for your age. For most people, this will be 170-190. And of course, if you are taking another ephedrine derivative or something else which increases heart rate, do not double up accidentally with a diet pill. Some common heart rate increasing and ephedrine based medications are cough syrups with Sudafed, over the counter asthma pills (but not inhalers), and prednisone.
